Manu Nacional Park – Rain Forest
(5 days - jungle)
Day 1:
We will depart from Cusco Valley to the north-east, San Sebastian District (Enaco), we will go through Corao Pass (area between two mountains) to the Vilcanota Valley, going across Corao, Taray and Pisac villages, we will fallow the way to Qollquepata village and then Paucartambo town, typical place with colonial characteristics, located in the basin of Mapacho river, where we will overnight.
Day 2:
From Paucartambo we will continue the trip to Ajanacu, Manu’s park border. Then we will descend to San Pedro and Rain Forest, where you will appreciate the Cock of the Rocks (Gallito de las Rocas), then we will go through Chontachaca, Patria and Pillcopata villages. Overnight.
Day 3:
Early next day, we will go on an excursion through Tono riverside, to explore and observe animals like caimans, monkeys, jacquards and insects, paintings on the stones (rock engraving) and we will go by exclusives routes of this region.
Day 4:
Next day we will visit La Hacienda El Carmen, where you will see species from this place, and then we will return to Paucartambo. Overnight.
Day 5:
We will return from Paucartambo to Cusco same route as first day.
