Sacred Valley

(1 day)

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located on the northern part of Cusco. It was undoubtedly a key area of settlement for the Incas and one of the most important areas, Pisaq and Ollantaytambo were very important religious centers and forts.

Currently, the Sacred Valley remains a lush agricultural region supplying the city of Cusco with much of its products, filled with quiet and colorful villages like Urubamba, Calca and Qoya. On the way back road we will ascend to Maras (salt mines) and the Archeological Complex of Moray (circular platforms and place of agricultural experimentation during Inca’s period).
